PERSONAL TRAINING GYM

Personal Training is of course the essence of what we do but is often not entirely what you think it is all about – namely yelling at you to do 10 more when you are nearly dead! Paul is extremely proud and confident of his methods that have been honed over decades of experience and you will be guided his way but very specifically towards your own needs.

So what exactly will your Personal Training experience be like?

At consultation you will be asked the question “What do you want?” And you will be asked “Why?”

It is then, depending on what your answers are and whether we agree your goals are realistic and achievable, we formulate a plan and work out the best, most practical way to get you there.

Everybody is different of course, but when it comes to fitness there are usually some guidelines that apply to all: and they are that we look to get you performing three “Key” sessions per week.

A “key” session is one that progresses you and it is extremely important you are aware of this whether you train with us or with anybody else.

Note: these “key” sessions are not necessarily all with a trainer. It is our mission from the outset to get you performing at least one on your own so that you begin to take responsibility for yourself.

You will ONLY see results if you consistently IMPROVE in the activities in which you engage.

What this means is that turning up at the gym for a ‘workout’ will quickly see diminishing returns unless you are moving forward. Unless you continue to lift heavier and/or move faster and have less rest then you will stagnate and that is why 80% of gym goers fail to see results.

Don’t let that frighten you though. As mentioned earlier, everyone is different and some may wish to progress slowly while others at a faster rate. Whatever though – we all must be progressing!

What is it going to cost you?

Typically, your journey at PCHF may last anywhere from 2 weeks to 10 years, it all depends on where you currently are, how much you are willing to learn and how much effort you put in yourself but this is something we will discover and plan at consultation phase.
